Description

Tiger Iron is a semi-precious stone consisting of three minerals mixed together: tigereye, hematite and jaspilite. It is formed by a sedimentation process, in which the minerals accumulate over time to form the stone.

A cutting technique called "retro-cut" is used for this stone. It is done on the back of the stone to create an even and uniform surface, usually with an oblique angle.

This gives the stone a shinier and a more striking appearance.
