White Mother of Pearl , is a type of mother of pearl that is predominantly white with iridescent pink, blue, green and gold shades.

It is composed mainly of conchiolin and aragonite, two minerals that give to mother of pearl its characteristic iridescence and lustre. It is found in various parts of the world, for example in the Gulf of Mexico and in the Pacific and Indian ocean.
