The name comes from the Greek word "haimatites", which means "blood-like", since hematite can be blood-red colour. Hematite is one of the most popular mineral on earth and can be found in many parts of the world, including Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Australia. It is used in many fields, including metallurgical and jewelry industry, and crystal therapy. This stone protects you from negative energies and stabilises the atmosphere.
