Green Abalone is a type of mother of pearl, characterised by a bright and iridescent green colour with blue or purple shades. This gemstone is composed mainly of conchiolin and aragonite, which combine to create the iridescent effect typical of mother of pearl. Green abalone is considered a gemstone that symbolises inner strength, protection and perseverance. Green abalone with a "brick" structure differs from the one with a "random" structure, by the regular arrangement of the minerals inside the mother of pearl. This gives the green abalone a clean, geometric look, with a flat, even surface that allows the light to reflect iridescently and evenly.
